Making Zone meals is simple. Just remember that each Zone meals must contain equal total number of blocks of protein, carbohydrate and fat.
For a typical men Zone Meal Plan, make sure that each Zone meal has 3 choices from each group i.e. 4 protein Zone Food Block, 4 carbohydrate Zone Food Block and 4 fat Zone Food Block.
A typical lady Zone meal plan will comprise of 3 Zone Food Blocks each of protein, carbohydrate and fat.
Making Zone Perfect Meal
Making Zone meal is easy with the zone meal plan "hand-eye" method.
When preparing Zone meal just simply take a plate and divide it into three equal section.
Fill one-third of the plate with low fat protein, two-third of the plate with non-starchy low-glycemic load carbohydrate (ie vegetables and fruits) together with a dash of heart healthy monounsaturated fats i.e. olive oil
The Zone meal prepared will keep you in the Zone by stabilizing insulin level for the next 4 to 6 hours.
